What is baptism?
Baptism isn't a show — it's a stand. It's the moment you step forward and publicly declare, “I belong to Jesus.” The water doesn't save you; Christ does. But baptism is how you respond with faith and obedience, leaving the old life behind and walking into the new. Scripture makes it clear that baptism is not just an outward act — it's the commitment of your heart toward God, through the power of Jesus' resurrection (1 Peter 3:21).
Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Should I get baptized?
If you have believed in Jesus, baptism is an important step of obedience and a public declaration of your new life in Him. The Bible describes baptism as identifying with Christ — we are buried with Him and raised to walk in newness of life (Romans 6:3–4). It's a moment that marks a change: the old life is left behind, and you step forward in faith with a new identity in Christ.
Jesus also connects faith and baptism as part of following Him faithfully (Mark 16:16). Baptism doesn't replace salvation — it responds to it. It's a beautiful “yes” to Jesus in front of your church family.

Join our baptism classes during Sunday School. We'll explain what baptism means, what happens during baptism, and how to prepare.

We'll share the next baptism date with the church. Once the date is announced, you'll be scheduled and supported all the way through.
